accepting climate change is man made
would mean:
I am partly to blame,
I must lay some of me aside and take action,
I need to change,
I must change my world view,
I can’t be at the centre anymore,
I am less – less important, significant, consequential,
Someone else is right,
this party is over,
I’ll have to listen to ‘them’,
I might have to take ‘orders’,
I’ll have to respect and follow,
my many imaginary freedoms, lost in a breath,
So perhaps easier to let them get on with it,
I’ll stand here on the side,
and throw rocks and ridicule,
I’ll criticize their enthusiasm,
their passion being poured out,
over a broken earth,
I am partly to Blame, …Someone else is right,!?
